Next Wednesday night (July 21st) we have a treat! We’ll see “One Nation Under God”, hosted by D. James Kennedy. This is an unforgettable journey of discovery to find the truth about America’s founding. Filmed at historic Williamsburg and Yorktown, Virginia, where our liberties were secured. This video features many scholars and presents startling evidence many Americans have never heard about the Christian character of our nation’s origin.
Complete with dramatizations, this remarkable program looks at the people—from Pilgrims through the Founding Fathers—who gave birth to this nation. It profiles what they believed and shows how biblical ideas built America. Don’t miss it!
We’ll have our regular pot-luck dinner at 6pm and then the video at 7pm, followed by Evening Prayer.

What Is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course usually meets once per week for 10 weeks, and includes an amazing one-day or weekend getaway. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
The Alpha Course runs for ten weeks (starting on Apr 11th), but come and see us, and give it a try. More than likely, you may find this very compelling information is well worth your time. Dinner and childcare are provided. The event runs from 6PM to 9:30PM each Sunday night. We will be meeting at Canterbury House. If you need directions, please visit our directions page on the website.
You can get more information on the course at their website.
