Immediately after the service on Sunday May 13th, there will be a reception for Pastor Yemi and his wife Bola. Pastor Yemi will be leaving us shortly and returning to Nigeria, and you should make an effort to be there to wish them well, as he completes has courses here in the US.

Spring Women’s Bible Study

On Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., in the Parish Hall, the Women’s Bible Study, Beth Moore’s “Beloved Disciple, the Life and Ministry of John” is continuing. This is an eleven-week study led by Bonnie McConnell! The workbooks are $15.00 if you’d like one. We will have child care and snacks.

Day of Healing & Renewal

It’s almost time for our semi-annual Day of Healing and Renewal so be sure to save the day. It will begin at 9am and end at 9pm. Come for all the sessions, or feel free to come during the time you can. There will be a $20 fee to cover the meals served.
Bishop Keith Ackerman will be our guest teacher and minister. He has been involved in the healing ministry for most of his ordained life. He is the retired bishop of the Diocese of Quincy, and is currently serving as an interim rector in the Diocese of Fort Worth. He and his wife, Joann, currently live in Keller.
There are brochures in the rack at the back of the Sanctuary. The deadline to register is May 2nd. To register, you may call the church office or put a $20 per person registration check in the offering plate with the memo line saying “Healing Day.”
Lorraine Spence Memorial Service

Sweet Loraine went home to be with Jesus this morning at 9:28 a.m. The Memorial Service for Loraine will be held this Saturday, April 14th, at 10:00 a.m., including communion, at Christ the Redeemer. There will be a luncheon after the service.
Loraine’s daughter Chris expressed that this is going to be a service celebrating a life well lived! She is going to wear something pink. She wants us to all dress in “Easter” colors!

Passover Meal

Our annual Easter Passover meal will be held on Maunday Thursday at 6PM. After the meal, we will have our Maundy Thursday liturgy immediately afterwards, followed by the stripping of the altar to symbolize the stripping of Jesus during the passion.
Easter Egg Hunt

Christ the Redeemer will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Canterbury House from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Remember to bring your own baskets, lawn chairs and cameras. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be canceled.
We will meet on Saturday, March 31, at noon immediately following the Women’s Bible Study to stuff plastic eggs.
Many people are needed to assist with the Easter Egg Hunt. Please consider giving your time to help with this event. A signup sheet is located on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.
Individually wrapped candy, Christian bracelets, stickers, etc. that can be fitted into plastic eggs are needed for the Easter Egg Hunt. We have approximately 2,000 eggs to fill! Please bring items for stuffing to church and place them in the container that will be in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you so much and as always, your assistance is greatly appreciated!
Men’s Breakfast – MAN FOOD!

The Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday, February 18th at 8am – we will meet at Christ the Redeemer. This meeting will feature the next segment of James MacDonald’s study, “Lord, Change My Attitude Before It’s Too Late.”
Bible Study, worship, great fellowship, and MANFOOD orchestrated by Mike, Alan, Tim, Chris, and the rest of the regular kitchen gang are the staples of the CTR Men’s Breakfasts! The October breakfast featured Tim’s elk burgers! Who knows what our manly CTR chefs will cook up next?
Women’s Bible Study

The new Women’s Bible Study, “Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted” by Priscilla Shirer begins on Saturday, Feb. 18th at 10:30am. The study will be facilitated by Claire Harrison. There will be childcare and snacks available.
