Pastoral Lay Eucharistic Ministers (or PLEMS) are trained lay persons who assist the clergy in visiting and taking communion to those who are sick, hospitalized or in nursing homes. After each Sunday worship service, the PLEMS come forward to receive the consecrated bread and wine and immediately take it to those in need.

The ushers assist members and visitors during Sunday morning worship. Whether it is handing out bulletins, helping people find a seat, or taking up the tithes and offerings, the ushers are always ready to assist those with a question or need on Sunday morning. They also function as a second line of greeters inside the sanctuary to make visitors and members alike feel welcome.
