Fr. Lawrence has just returned from a week-long time of intensive teaching and ministry on the subject of healing. The leaders of his retreat were Francis and Judith McNutt, well known pioneers of the healing ministry. Fr, Lawrence will share with us many of the teachings and insights he received during his week with the McNutts. There are colored brochures in the rack at the back of the Sanctuary for you to take and give to your friends. The registration fee (which includes 3 meals) is $20. If you need scholarship help please contact Fr. Lawrence.
If you cannot make it to the church and wish a brochure to be sent to you, please contact the church office.

Children’s Ministry will be sponsoring an Easter egg hunt this year on Saturday, April 23rd from 3-5 pm. We are in need of individually wrapped Easter candy, Christian bracelets, stickers, etc. that can be fitted into plastic eggs. We have approximately 2,000 of them to fill! Please bring items for stuffing to church and place them in the container that is in the Fellowship Hall.
Volunteers are needed to assist with this event and also to distribute flyers for the event in the neighborhood around Canterbury House in conjunction with the prayer/praise service held on Sunday evening, April 17 at 6:00 pm.
There haven’t been many volunteers sign up yet and we need to know soon whether we will need to cancel this event due to lack of volunteers. Call Mary Esther soon!

As of January 1, 2011, we still had $99,000 to pay off on the Miller Road Property. However, due to the faithfulness of God’s people at CTR, the last $715.51 needed was received during an offering that was taken up this past Wednesday night at the Eucharist, completing the Promised Land Campaign during the scheduled three year period, which began in March 2008. God is so good! Brenda Westerfield made the final payment on the loan and we will soon have a festive celebration on the property to “burn the mortgage” so to speak. Many heartfelt thanks to all of you who have contributed generously and sacrificially over the last three years to the Promised Land Campaign. The Campus Development Committee is now geared up to plan for Phase I of our Building Campaign. Stay tuned for more details.
