This month's service will be held on Saturday April 5th at 9:15AM.
The April edition of the CANA Newsletter is now available as a pdf file. You can download a copy of it via the link below. It requires the use of the free Adobe Reader software, which you can get here if you don't have a copy.
We now have a selection of pictures available from the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday the 22nd, and from Easter morning on Sunday the 23rd available. You can check out the slideshow below, or visit the full photo gallery online here.

Men’s Bible Study
April 19th, 8 am
The men will begin a new Bible study, Wide Angle, featuring Rick Warren and Chuck Colson at their next Men’s Breakfast. This is a great study that has plenty of discussion time for you to share your thoughts. This is a good time for you to invite a friend or neighbor!
The church office will be closed on Easter Monday but will reopen at 9am on Tuesday, March 25. Father Lawrence will be out of the office this next week, but if you have any pastoral needs, please contact
Fr. Jeff or Deacon Sheri.
The Women’s Ministry will be having a bake sale on Easter morning—so don’t plan to make a dessert for dinner that day!
If you would like to bake or buy cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, or any other baked good to donate to the sale please bring them to the church on Saturday, March 22 before noon, or bring them to church with you on Sunday. If you have any questions, contact Candyce Milner at 972-240-0181 or email womensministries@rowlettanglicans.org .
We will again this year have a beautiful room set up with an Altar of Repose and decorated with flowers which will be planted at Canterbury House after the Good Friday service. If you would like to donate towards the purchase of Easter or Altar of Repose flowers, please put in the memo line of your check “Easter Flowers†or “Altar of Repose Flowers.â€
Confessions will be heard by Fr. Lawrence and Fr. Jeff by appointment during Holy Week. Please call the office for an appointment.
Some of you may have read in the Promised Land campaign notes that one way of giving will be through eBay. Our Webservant Joe and his wife Lynn have graciously offered to handle the sale of these items through eBay for Christ the Redeemer.
We're hoping that some of you will make use of this means of giving, especially if you have some valuable items that you might want to donate, rather than everyday "knick knacks." Depending on the value of the item, it might need to be appraised by a professional. Also it needs to be something easily shippable (which means no HDTV's or furniture). A special account has already been set up for the sale of such items through eBay. Aside from the fees that eBay takes for selling the items, all funds received from an item's sale will be deposited into this account exclusively for the Promised Land Campaign. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes in the amount of the sale price for the item.
As there are some special considerations in any donation of this type, you should speak with Joe or Lynn if you have an item that you desire to donate through eBay.
Christ the Redeemer Email News has been updated. Due to a technical problem, the old list that was in use was lost. It has been reconstructed from the church records and the clergy’s personal address books. A test message was sent out a couple of weeks ago as well as several news updates since then. If you did not get any of these messages via email, and you wish to receive our Email News updates, please email our Webservant, Joe Siegler, at church@siegler.net and ask to be added to the email list for news.
You may also write down your email address and hand it to Joe at church. Also, if you are a ministry leader and have info you wish to get out to the church, see either Joe Siegler or a member of the clergy for more information.
Please keep in touch!!
Anglican Prayer Beads, handcrafted by the Sunday prayer cell, will be available on Palm Sunday to those who would like to have them. There is no charge for these beads. However, in order to expand this ministry beyond our church family, donations will be gratefully accepted.
